What We Do

Angels of Champions provides a wide range of advocacy, support, and recovery-focused initiatives designed to empower individuals, strengthen families, and transform communities impacted by addiction.

  • Community Advocacy:
We offer meaningful advocacy opportunities within local communities. Our Angel Advocates work alongside families, youth, adults, and seniors—equipping them with the tools and support needed to confront and overcome addiction.
  • Healthcare Advocacy Support:
We provide resources and guidance for individuals and families who need an advocate within the addiction healthcare system, helping them navigate care, treatment access, and critical decision-making.
  • Scholarship Assistance:
We provide scholarship assistance to qualifying Champions seeking evidence-based, medication-assisted treatment—because we believe this path to recovery saves lives.
  • Policy & Access Advocacy:
We advocate for expanded access to medication-assisted treatment so more patients can receive the care they need to survive and recover.
  • Medical Community Partnerships:
We actively seek partnerships with the medical community to develop and provide new resources and opportunities for qualified Champions in recovery.
  • Science-Based & Holistic Therapies:
We support science-based, cutting-edge therapies—including natural and holistic approaches—that help treat addiction while reducing pharmaceutical side effects that can perpetuate addiction challenges.
  • Butterfly Baby Bundles:
Through our signature Butterfly Baby Bundles, we provide support packages to hospitals for newborns affected by the addiction crisis—offering comfort, dignity, and hope to families at the very beginning of life.

Above all, we are committed to making every addiction patient in recovery a Champion in life.

Who are Angels?

Angels are community advocates, family members, and loved ones who have been personally impacted by substance use disorder and are committed to supporting transformation within their families and communities.

Our Angels work together to:

  • Eliminate addiction stigma by addressing root causes and helping remove barriers to recovery
  • Expose systemic failures within addiction care and the legislation that allows those failures to persist
  • Raise awareness of the emotional, physical, and societal toll addiction has taken on our communities
  • Educate families about prevention strategies and evidence-based recovery programs
  • Create pathways for lasting change through peer-to-peer support and purpose-driven community engagement

Angel Action

Angels of Champions is committed to saving lives by preventing overdose deaths caused by systemic failures in addiction treatment—and by confronting the laws and policies that allow those failures to persist.

No other infectious or chronic condition rivals the devastating societal impact opioids have had on Americans. The toll addiction has taken on families and communities may never be fully understood. What is clear, however, is that more must be done—locally, regionally, and nationally—to address systems that too often create barriers to recovery rather than pathways to success.

We work to confront addiction stigma by advocating for meaningful policy and legislative reform. Our goal is to hold providers and lawmakers accountable at both the state and national levels—and to end the revolving door of addiction treatment failure.

At the heart of Angel Action is a commitment to building strong families within our communities—because strong families are one of the most powerful defenses against this disease. We provide hope for successful recovery by supporting new scientific approaches and evidence-based treatments capable of transforming addiction care and saving lives.

We are working to confront addiction stigma by advocating for Policy and Legislative change that will hold providers and legislatures accountable at the state and national level to end the revolving door of addiction treatment failure.                                             To learn more, click here.
