What is Angels of Champions?

Ending Patient Abandonment. Restoring Accountability. Saving Lives.

Angels of Champions is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in memory of Robert Louis Jones, whose life was lost to profound addiction stigma and patient abandonment within our healthcare system.

We exist to expose the failures that put patients at risk—and to reform the laws, policies, and practices that allow those failures to continue. Through advocacy, accountability, and science-based solutions, we are working to ensure that no patient is ever abandoned when they are most vulnerable.

Our Mission

At Angels of Champions, our mission is to fight addiction stigma, save lives, and strengthen communities through advocacy, awareness, prevention, and transformative programs that support individuals and families navigating the challenges of addiction and recovery.

Our Vision

We envision a world where every person in recovery is treated with dignity, supported with accountability, and empowered to become a Champion in life.

Inform

At the heart of Angels of Champions is our commitment to inform community leaders, the public, and state officials about the realities of addiction stigma. Through education and awareness, we work to deepen understanding of the profound toll stigma takes on individuals and families—and to equip decision-makers with the knowledge needed to drive meaningful change.

Transform

Angels of Champions is committed to transforming communities by transforming lives. We provide access to programs that support individuals and families willing to do the work of recovery—programs that promote physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual wellness and empower lasting life success.

Inspire

We seek to Inspire community support and advocate for the Angels of Champions mission as this is a national crisis that will take a Global effort to build an infrastructure that will transform and inspire America’s families and communities toward future wellness.

We believe accountability lights the path to life success, and that Transformational Coaching is a critical component of a comprehensive wellness strategy—one that supports physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being for individuals and families navigating addiction challenges.
